IS6809A is a 70A smart power level solution. It has high precision current monitoring and temperature monitoring. It is designed for low duty cycle applications, especially for multiphase applications. It provides high current, high efficiency and good thermal performance, IS6809A uses LGA 5mm x 6mm package, internal power MOSFET in minimizing switching and conduction losses.

The IS6809A gate driver and internal integration of power MOSFETs optimize dead time and reduce parasitic inductance, resulting in high efficiency, excellent thermal performance, and high power density. IS6809A can receive the three-state pulse width modulation (PWM) signal of the multiphase controller, support the fault alarm function, such as HS FET overcurrent, overheating and HS MOSFET short-circuit fault, and support the accurate current sampling and temperature sampling function to realize the current detection and report the junction temperature. It can monitor the operating current in real time and alert the system when the temperature is too high. It is equipped with a full set of protection functions, including positive and negative current limit, over-temperature and input voltage UVLO.
